The Air Rover® XL Series portable air conditioner is the perfect portable air conditioning solution for energy efficient spot cooling in computer rooms, factories, or offices. The ultimate in convenience, it features remote operation, easy portability, and simple installation.
Features
Each XL Series portable air conditioner from Air Rover® comes with a convenient 24 hour programmable timer that allows the portable air conditioner to start or stop automatically for a preset period of time. XL Series portable air conditioning systems are available in cooling capacities from 11,800 Btu/hr to 160,000 Btu/hr.
An XL Series portable air conditioner can be used in offices and factories as a portable spot cooler, a fan, or a dehumidifier. Its 3-speed fan enhances cooling and fan performance and maximizes energy efficiency to improve air circulation in poorly ventilated environments. Other features include a built-in overflow and auto shut off alarm for the 2-gallon dehumidifier, chrome grab handles, heavy duty wheels, duct hookup panels, and a venting kit to prevent hot air from re-circulating to the cooling room.
Advantages
Other portable spot coolers operate much differently than an Air Rover® portable air conditioner. A normal spot cooler creates a negative pressure in a room by using the room air to cool the condenser. Once the condenser air is heated, it is ducted out of the room, thus causing the unit to draw air that it has cooled out of the room. All Air Rover portable air conditioners feature BOTH a condenser intake duct AND a condenser exhaust duct that are both ducted outside of the room being cooled. This improved design eliminates negative air situations and allows any XL Series air conditioner to make a complete heat exchange. Air Rover's XL Series provides TRUE air conditioning and not just SPOT COOLING.
Summary
The XL Series is Air Rover's portable air conditioner for spot cooling and supplemental air conditioning applications.
