If any part of your Air Rover Portable Air Conditioner fails because of a manufacturing defect within twelve months from date of original purchase, Air Rover, Inc. will furnish, without charge F.O.B. Tyler, Texas, the required replacement part, as well for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase any transportation, related service labor, and diagnostic calls, that have been previously authorized by Air Rover, Inc., and included in this warranty. In addition, if the Hermetic compressor fails because of a manufacturing defect within the second through the third year from the date of original purchase, Air Rover, Inc. will furnish without charge, F.O.B. Tyler, Texas the required replacement. Any transportation, related service labor, diagnostic calls, filters, driers and/or refrigerant are not included. All warranty work must have written authorization prior to service. No warranty work will be paid without written authorization from Air Rover, Inc. Air Rover warrants only to the original purchaser.
To obtain service under this warranty, the customer must contact Air Rover, Inc. Service Department at (U.S.) 1-800-858-6287, or (903) 877-3430 and request a Service Repair Authorization (SRA) Number. All transportation costs, related service labor charges, and/or diagnostic call charges must be authorized prior to commencement of the service. Authorization must be obtained before any replacement parts, other than those provided by Air Rover, Inc. are installed.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by improper installation, misuse of equipment or negligent servicing. Units that are to be used where ambient outside temperatures will be less than 45°F are not covered by this warranty unless said units are equipped with optional low ambient controls. Furthermore, units which are to be used where the evaporator temperature may reach or exceed 100°F for extended periods will not be covered by this warranty unless said units are equipped with optional high ambient controls as well.
Units that are to be used for process cooling will not be covered by this warranty because such units require special adaptations which are specific to each purpose.
This warranty constitutes the exclusive remedy of any purchaser of Air Rover, Inc. Portable Air Conditioners and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty or merchantability of fitness for use, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Warranty coverage extends only to the original destination to which shipped from the Air Rover plant in Tyler, Texas and does not cover units which are transshipped to another destination following receipt at the original destination. Such additional movement to other locations voids the warranty, since Air Rover cannot be responsible for the onward movement of the unit(s). In no event shall Air Rover, Inc. be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty applies to products purchased and retained for use in the United States, as well as units shipped for use in Canada and Mexico. Units used in the aforementioned countries are honored under Air Rover, Incorporated's standard 90-day labor, 1-year parts and workmanship, and 3-year compressor warranty. However, units used for rental purposes are not covered by this warranty.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE AND COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. Some states and countries do not allow limitations or exclusions, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
One-Year Parts Guarantee – Worldwide
If any part of your Air Rover Environmental Control Unit fails because of a manufacturing defect within a twelve month period from delivery date of purchase, Air Rover, Inc. will furnish without charge F.O.B. Tyler, Texas, the required replacement part. Any transportation, related service labor, diagnostic calls, filters, driers and/or refrigerant are not included.
Before Warranty transactions are executed, a written authorization number must be issued. For replacement parts, contact Air Rover, Inc. at (903) 877-3430 between 8:00am and 5:00pm central time Monday through Friday and request a Material Return Authorization (MRA) number. Authorization must be obtained before any replacement parts are shipped. Air Rover, Inc. will invoice the replacement part pending receipt of the defective part, preserved and labeled with the MRA number. Air Rover, Inc. will then credit the invoice for the price of the replacement part.
