THIS WARRANTY IS GRANTED ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE TO ANY END-USER TO WHICH THE COMMERCIAL AIR PROTECTION SYSTEM MAY BE TRANSFERRED. ANY SUCH WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITY IS BETWEEN THE END-USER AND THE PURCHASER.
Air Rover warrants that all Air Protection System (APS) Series equipment manufactured by Air Rover including parts or components supplied hereunder will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
Air Rover will, at its option, repair or replace, F.O.B. point of sale, any Air Protection System (APS) Series equipment, part or component sold by Air Rover and determined to be defective within one (1) year from date of shipment.
Warranty Period commences 15 days following shipment of the product.
To register Air Rover Air Protection Systems, complete the online registration form on the Air Rover website: airrover.com. Failure to register your product will not diminish your warranty rights. Please keep your proof of purchase.
To obtain warranty service, you will be required to provide documentation verifying the date the product was received.
Air Rover will not repair or replace equipment that has not been properly installed or maintained and verified according to Air Rover’s recommended installation and maintenance requirements (set forth in the Product Operations Manual).
Air Rover’s obligation to repair or replace any defective equipment, parts or components during the warranty period shall be Customer’s exclusive remedy.
The Warranty information provided here applies to new units only and does not pertain to refurbished units. All Air Rover refurbished units have a 30-day functional guarantee only.
Air Rover shall not be responsible for labor charges for removal or reinstallation of defective equipment, parts or components, for charges for transportation, handling and shipping, or for repairs or replacement of such equipment, or components, required as a consequence of faulty installation, misapplication, connections to improper voltage supply, vandalism, abuse, exposure to chemicals, improper servicing, unauthorized alteration or improper operation by persons other than Air Rover.
THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
This Warranty is meant for Manufacturer’s recommended standard commercial applications for improving indoor air quality or providing negative air pressure as set forth in the Product Operation Manual and does not apply to APS products used in severe-duty air quality testing facilities or other extreme use applications because such units require special adaptions which are specific to each purpose.
Air Rover is not responsible for items not normally subject to mechanical maintenance including but not limited to: duct work, casings, cabinets, fixtures, structural supports, grillage, water piping, steam piping, drain piping, cooling tower fill, boiler tubes, boiler refractory, disconnect switches and circuit breakers.
Air Rover is not responsible for repairs, replacements, alterations, additions, adjustments, repairs by others, unscheduled calls or emergency calls, any of which may be necessitated by negligent operation, abuse, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, vandalism, obsolescence, building system design, damage due to freezing weather, chemical/electrochemical attack, corrosion, erosion, deterioration due to unusual wear and tear, any damage related to the presence of mold, fungi, mildew, or bacteria, damage caused by power reductions or failures or any other cause beyond Air Rover’s control.
Air Rover shall not be required to perform tests, install any items of equipment or make modifications that may be recommended or directed by insurance companies, government, state, municipal or other authority.
The purchaser has the responsibility of inspecting all merchandise received from Air Rover, Inc. within 14 days.
Freight Damage/Shortage must be reported within 15 days from receipt of delivery.
Warranty coverage extends only to the original destination contracted with the Air Rover manufacturing plant in Tyler, Texas and does not cover units which are transshipped to an alternate destination after initial receipt. Such additional movement to alternate locations voids the warranty, since Air Rover cannot be responsible for the onward movement of the unit(s). In no event shall Air Rover, Inc. be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
All warranty work must have written authorization from Air Rover, Inc.
Air Rover warrants only to the original purchaser.
To engage warranty support, the customer must request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number by contacting Air Rover, Inc. Sales & Customer Service Department at this e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling Air Rover at 1 (903) 877-3430, then enter "0" and the Operator will connect you with one of our technicians, between 8:00am and 4:00pm (CT) Monday through Thursday, and between 8:00am and 3:00pm (CT) on Friday.
If the Air Rover Technical Support Representative determines that the warranty claim is valid and that a replacement part is required, the Representative will process the claim and the replacement part will be shipped to you. Included in the shipment of the replacement part will be any shipping labels and documents needed to return the original part, including a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.
Your receipt of the replacement part constitutes your agreement to return the failed part to Air Rover, Inc. within 15 days of the receipt of the replacement part delivery. If Air Rover, Inc. does not receive the original part, you will be invoiced for the retail cost of the replacement part, and you will be responsible for payment of the replacement part upon receipt of invoice. Air Rover, Inc. reserves all rights it retains under law to collect the retail cost of the replacement part if the original is not returned as specified above.
Air Rover, Inc. reserves the right to make the final determination, based on its own evaluation, as to whether adverse site conditions, (including, but not limited to, excessive dust, heat, humidity, unstable electric service, or any other unknown or unforeseen condition that affects the proper operation of the products), improper application, or improper installation is determined to be the basis for the part failure.
